Abstract

The impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on online shopping platforms is immense because of the introduction of recommendations, virtual assistants, chatbots, and predictive analytics. Consumer trust plays an important part in assessing how well and whether the technology will be adopted by consumers. In order to assess the extent to which consumers trust and how they perceive AI technology in online shopping platforms, this paper intends to evaluate consumer awareness about and trust on AI technologies in online shopping platforms. Primarily collected data included responses from 100 online shoppers via structured questionnaires. Tools like Simple Percentage Analysis, Mean Ranking, Correlation Analysis, and Descriptive Statistics were utilized for analysis purposes.
